Karagozian Family - Larry, Michelle, Seth, Luke, and Abby (Luke’s fiancée)
Two generations of the Karagozian family found their perfect new home at
Tesoro Viejo, purchasing two new McCaffrey homes last year. As an active, close-knit family, they were looking for a community that offered the ideal balance of outdoor adventure and family-friendly amenities. After careful consideration, Larry, Michelle, Seth, Luke, and Abby (Luke’s fiancée) chose Tesoro Viejo to continue living their vibrant lifestyle.
Larry and Michelle had previously owned a McCaffrey home in the area for many years, so purchasing a second McCaffrey home was an easy decision. “We decided to buy another McCaffrey home because of our amazing experience with the first one. We lived in it for 15 years, and the quality of construction really stood the test of time. McCaffrey is well-known in the community for their attention to detail and for working with top-notch contractors,” says Michelle.

In the Fall of 2024, Larry, Michelle, and Seth moved into their new
Savanna home (a Cypress floor plan), just a week after Luke and Abby moved into their own McCaffrey home, a
Poppy home (Clover floor plan). Interestingly, Luke and Abby were the first to buy a home in Tesoro Viejo. Luke encouraged his parents to check out the model homes, and once they saw the Savanna models, they were sold.
“With a McCaffrey home, we knew we’d be supported throughout the buying, building, and settling-in process. It’s been a great experience for my fiancée and me,” says Luke.
Living just 3-5 minutes apart, the Karagozians are excited to explore the many
amenities Tesoro Viejo offers together. As avid mountain bikers, they were thrilled to learn about the extensive trails right outside their door. “The variety of trails allows us to explore and stay active, whether we're biking or just walking,” says Larry.
The homes the Karagozians chose perfectly suit their lifestyle. Larry, Michelle, and Seth love the open layout of their Cypress floor plan at
Savanna, which features three bedrooms and a flexible space they've turned into an office. They look forward to hosting family and friends in their new home. Meanwhile, Luke and Abby, living in the Clover floor plan at
Poppy Tesoro Viejo, are also enjoying their spacious new home. As a young couple, they particularly appreciate being surrounded by other young families in the Poppy neighborhood. “We’ve made great friends with our neighbors and get together for dinner weekly,” says Abby.
