We’re excited to share that earlier this year, two of our team members, Shelly Hogan and Tina Akin, celebrated milestone 20- and 10-year anniversaries with McCaffrey Homes. People are important to us here at McCaffrey Homes, as we strive to build a place where our employees can flourish. Shelly and Tina have accomplished so much during their time with us! We're proud of all our team members and know our homeowners depend on them.
In January, Shelly Hogan, our vice president of sales, completed 20 years of outstanding service. Her connections with McCaffrey Homes span her lifetime. Shelly grew up in a home built by Bonadelle Homes, owned by Karen McCaffrey’s father John Bonadelle. Shelly’s mother still lives in that home today. Shelly has also lived in a McCaffrey built Hampton Court home and now a McCaffrey custom home at our Bellaviera community. In fact, she’s only lived in a home built by the family, which gives her the ability to truly relate to our homebuyers. Over the years, Shelly has also helped her brother and friends become McCaffrey homeowners.
During her career, Shelly has played a key role in 52 new home communities, managed 208 model homes, and helped sell 3,990 homes that have earned 112 awards. Before becoming VP of sales, Shelly served as an escrow coordinator, sales associate, and mortgage loan counselor for McCaffrey Homes.
Recently, Tina Akin, our sales associate celebrated her 10-year anniversary with us. Tina is also the proud owner of a McCaffrey home and has helped her parents, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and even her hair stylist to become McCaffrey homeowners as well. In the last decade, Tina has served in seven communities and helped 800 buyers realize their dream of a new home.
Tina’s first community, Madison Place, remains special to her, with friendships with homebuyers that continue today. Tina guides our homebuyers every step of the way while making the process enjoyable. She says the moment she loves the most is delivering a new home to happy owners, complete with a three-foot red bow.
In the constantly evolving housing industry, we are thankful to have such dedicated team members who have built great relationships over the years with everyone around them. They’ve made a big difference in the lives of our homeowners and all of us at McCaffrey Homes. We congratulate both of them and wish them many more years of success in the McCaffrey Homes family.
