As we take in the joys of the 2021 holiday season, with festive gatherings, home decorating, and more, it is also a time of reflection and gratitude.
It is humbling to think of all of the families celebrating the joys of the season in one of our homes. Our homeowners are enjoying making new memories, creating traditions and commemorating milestones this time of year. Now more than ever, our homes are the backdrop for our most important moments, and we are truly grateful that you’ve entrusted us with building yours.
Our family too is celebrating our favorite traditions of the holiday season. Our European roots and faith set the tone for this time of year, with gatherings centered around family, friends and of course, food.
Every year, we celebrate Christmas Eve with our family, enjoying the Feast of Seven Fishes, representing the seven sacraments. The house is filled with the sounds of grandchildren playing together and the delicious aromas that bring back memories of many generations of celebrations. Taking our children and grandchildren to Christmas Eve Mass is always a highlight for us, and it moves me to think that we are keeping these customs alive.
While we enjoy these family traditions, we can’t help but think of our McCaffrey homeowners and how grateful we are for all of you. We wish you all a joyous holiday season, and a New Year filled with peace, good health, and happiness.
Season’s Greetings from all of us at McCaffrey Homes!
In gratitude,
Karen McCaffrey
