With the arrival of 2015, the McCaffrey Homes team has its eyes trained on exciting events happening in the new year. That's because there are so many great Central Valley events throughout the year for residents to enjoy:
- Madera Wine Trail This historic trail is the scene of several celebrations - from Holiday Spirit Weekend in November to the Wine and Chocolate festivities held in February. Considering that this region boasts some of the oldest grape-growing grounds in the country, the Madera Wine Trail is the spot to soak up the local flavor.
- Fresno State Vintage Days Spring is just around the corner and the Fresno State Vintage Days event is one of our favorite events. Held in April, Fresno State students show their school spirit with musical performances, a petting zoo, pep rallies, delicious food and a beer garden. The popular event draws nearly 50,000 visitors each year.
- Clovis Rodeo The Clovis Rodeo's roots run deep, it will celebrate its 101st anniversary this spring. Visitors can expect mutton busting and jackpot roping, parades, music and BBQ. Best of all, the rodeo raises over $150,000 annually for schools and charities. McCaffrey Homes happens to be a proud contributing sponsor of this event.
- Old Town Clovis Street Vault Championships Twenty years ago, McCaffrey Home Mortgage employee Jill Palascios and her family founded the Old Town Clovis Street Vault Championship. Her pole-vaulting brother and father established the North American Pole Vault Association (NAPVA) to grow opportunities for young athletes. The association hosts nationwide competitions that qualify athletes for the championship held in Old Town Clovis.

The McCaffrey's don't just celebrate our nation's veterans on this day, but every day with their iconic red, white and blue flag barn situated along California Highway 41.
- Christmas Tree Lane & Walk Night In 1920, a single tree was decorated. Today, the lane includes the decoration of nearly 140 homes and 300 trees and covers a distance of two miles.
