Building Industry Association Chairman Brent McCaffrey Honored at Annual Event

Posted: December 12, 2017

The Building Industry Association of Fresno/Madera counties honored outgoing Chairman Brent McCaffrey for his dedication to his community and the American Dream of home ownership at their annual holiday event held Friday, December 1.

The Association membership was joined in honoring McCaffrey by the Madera County Board of Supervisors, California State Legislature by Assemblyman Tom Berryhill and Congressman Jim Costa.

Madera County Supervisor Max Rodriguez noted McCaffrey’s vision for the future and appreciation for his participation in helping to implement their community’s design for the progressive Rio Mesa plan.

Humbled by the recognition McCaffrey took the opportunity to acknowledge the lessons learned from his grandfather, John Bonadelle, by stating that, “Homebuilders are some of the most positive people you’ll ever meet.  Our job is to get in front of the hurdles and make the American Dream of homeownership a reality.

“It has been an honor to work with all of you and I look forward to continuing to work with you every day as we make the impossible, possible,” he continued. McCaffrey is president of McCaffrey Homes, a local third generation family homebuilder. He has served on the Board of Directors of the local BIA since 2004, and was recognized by  Professional Builder magazine in 2017 as a rising star in the nation’s homebuilding industry.
