Shelle Hartmann is no stranger to the real estate industry. As a
licensed real estate agent, she began her career in new home sales. She
has held a variety of positions with McCaffrey beginning her career at
the firm as an escrow coordinator, and then advancing to purchasing
manager.
During her fifteen years with McCaffrey, Hartmann has worked on
nearly 20 new home communities, 50 model homes and has been involved in
the early stages of Tesoro Viejo, the award-winning master-planned
community in Madera, California. Tesoro Viejo was recently honored as
the 2023 national Community of the Year by the National Association of
Home Builders.
“While I love every community I’ve worked on, Tesoro Viejo is my
favorite,” Hartmann said. “I love seeing the residents enjoying the
lifestyle the way it was intended, as well as seeing the neighbors
enjoying the trails, community amenities, our Town Center, and the
events we host throughout the year.”
“As for Events," Hartmann continued, "My favorite community event is "Sip & Support", a wine and beer tasting event benefitting Valley Children’s Hospital. It is a fun event for a great cause.”
Born and raised in Fresno, Hartmann met her husband, Rus, in college.
The couple has been married 28 years and have four sons. When not
watching their sons sporting events, they can be found boating at any of
the nearby lakes.
As a sales associate, Janice Tognotti has assisted homebuyers in
twelve communities and sold 1,100 new homes – working with each buyer
every step of their new home journey.
“I love being part of the Tesoro Viejo community,” Tognotti said, “It
is so exciting to see a master planned community come alive! From raw
land to what it is today is amazing. I hope to be selling with McCaffrey
Homes until the very last village.”
A
native of Madera, Tognotti has been married to Richard, her husband of
35 years and has two grown sons, Zachary and Michael. Two pets, Shelby a
mini-Schnauzer and Thor her adopted cat from England from when Zachary
was stationed there.
“The best part of my job is assisting and informing our homebuyers
every step of the way – to answer questions for them and explain the
process – right up to the day that they close and receive the keys to
their new home,” Tognotti said.
Tognotti is also proud to be part of a company that has been
recognized fifteen times as a People’s Choice favorite new home builder.
Comments from Tognotti’s customers reflect that.
“Janice was phenomenal! I couldn’t have imagined a better person to
walk me through my first new-build home purchase,” said one homebuyer.
When asked what each looks forward to next, both Hartmann and
Tognotti agreed – continuing to serve homebuyers, residents, and
McCaffrey for many years to come.
“At McCaffrey, we are proud to earn the loyalty of caring and
dedicated team members like Shelle and Janice,” Karen McCaffrey said.
“They are among our greatest assets, and we are pleased to recognize
their service. We thank them for their many contributions to the team
and for making a positive impact on the lives of our homebuyers and
residents.”
Currently, McCaffrey Homes is building three neighborhoods in Madera: Poppy, Ivy and Savanna neighborhoods at Tesoro Viejo, master-planned community, that was recently awarded 2023 National Community of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.
