FRESNO, CA – Leading local homebuilder McCaffrey Homes is pleased to recognize marketing professional, Christine Goff, for 15 years of service.
“We are pleased to recognize Ms. Goff for her commitment and outstanding service,” said Karen McCaffrey, vice president of McCaffrey Homes. “She has a can-do attitude and takes on new challenges, allowing us to deliver quality homes and a positive homebuying experience. We thank Christine for her contributions to our team and wish her many more years of success in the McCaffrey Homes family.”
Goff is no stranger to the industry. After taking a drafting class in high school, she found herself in the blueprinting business to start her career and eventually worked as a marketing coordinator for a local architectural firm before joining McCaffrey Homes in 2005. Originally from San Jose, Goff moved to the Fresno area when her parents relocated to Clovis. She planned to only stay for a year; but she met her husband, and the Fresno area became her home.
She currently serves as the Marketing and Website Administrator for McCaffrey Homes. She oversees the development and management of the firm’s websites, assists all departments with technology integration and new systems, as well as provides leadership for the marketing program and oversees the marketing budget.
“After 15 years with McCaffrey Homes, I still feel challenged.” Goff said. “From technology advancements to filling in wherever I am needed, it has made for an interesting career.”
Goff has seen changes in the homebuilding industry over the last 15 years. She points to the commitment of McCaffrey Homes to the local area as the reason for sustained success over the years even in the face of economic downturn and a slowing of the housing market.
Goff points to the design and redesign of the website as one of her most rewarding experiences at McCaffrey Homes. She has been involved with five website redesigns over the last 15 years. As technology changes, so, too, does the website need to change, she said.
But, perhaps her most rewarding experience is being involved in the creation of a community from the initial vision to families moving into their new homes. She is particularly grateful for being a part of helping Tesoro Viejo come alive – Madera County’s newest, award-winning master-planned community.
“Being involved with the development of a community from start to finish is my most rewarding experience,” she said. “ Seeing the grand opening for new models and then eventually the close out of the community when the last lot closes escrow and the last new homeowner moves in are very rewarding.”
And if she could give herself a piece of advice 15 years ago? She would tell herself to not stress over the deadlines because she would always meet them!
