Refer a Friend – Homeowner Referral Program
To be eligible for the reward, referring party must be a current McCaffrey Homeowner and the original purchaser of a new home built by McCaffrey Homes that has closed escrow. Referred McCaffrey Homes buyer must close escrow on a new McCaffrey home within one year of submitting referral form. Participants may refer up to four buyers annually who successfully close escrow. Referral reward will be sent via certified mail to referring party within 60 days of close of escrow of the referred party. Federal regulations require that the referring party provide their Social Security number prior to issuance of multiple referral rewards in a calendar year as it is considered taxable income. Only one referral reward will be paid per transaction. Referrals are not paid on transactions involving real estate brokers. Upon the closing and funding of the transaction, realtor reward will be paid on the base selling price excluding lot premium and upgrades issued directly from the title company to the licensed brokerage company listed on the Realtor Registration. If you leave the employ of the brokerage company listed on the Realtor Registration prior to payment of a Realtor Reward, you agree to look solely to the brokerage company for the payment of the Realtor Reward and to indemnify, defend and hold harmless McCaffrey Homes for the payment of the Realtor Reward directly to the brokerage company. This indemnity shall survive the expiration of this agreement.
No portion of any Realtor Reward may be credited toward the sales price or the closing costs either at time of contract or settlement.
Should the purchase agreement fail to close, no Realtor Reward will be paid to the referring realtor or broker. Federal regulations require that the referring realtor provide their brokerage company's Federal Employer Identification Number prior to issuance of Realtor Reward. Realtor must be an active licensed California Broker or Agent. Only one referral will be paid per transaction. It is McCaffrey Homes Policy not to negotiate any reduction in the selling price on any home to any buyer based on the fact there is no Realtor participation. McCaffrey Homes and Realtor acknowledge and agree that this agreement does not create an employer/employee relationship between McCaffrey Homes and Realtor.
